APS Foundation Grant Awarded to Coding in Color
Coding in Color Receives APS Foundation Grant to Launch Computer Science Program with Salt River Schools Accelerated Learning Academy
Scottsdale, AZ ( July 2, 2024 ) — Coding in Color, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting computer science education among students from historically underserved backgrounds, is thrilled to announce that it has received a grant from the APS Foundation. This funding will support an upcoming computer science program in partnership with Salt River Schools Accelerated Learning Academy, set to run from August 2024 through May 2025.
The new program aims to provide students with comprehensive education in various technological fields, including web development, data structures and algorithms, robotics, and more. Through hands-on projects and interactive learning, students will gain valuable skills and experience that will prepare them for future careers in the tech industry.
The partnership with Salt River Schools Accelerated Learning Academy will bring together resources and expertise from both organizations to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. The program will focus on fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, providing students with a strong foundation in computer science.
